Sugar-Action is a home bakery operating in Frisco, TX 75035. Orders are made to order by one baker, which is why every custom cake is quoted individually rather than sold at a list price.

Submitting the request form does not create an order or reserve a date. It tells us what you would like so we can price it. Nothing is owed at that point, and we may decline a request, most often because the date is already full.

An order exists once we send you a quote, you accept it, and the deposit is received. Each of those steps is yours to take or not.

A quote lists every item with its own price, so you can see what each part costs rather than a single figure. Where we offer more than one option, you choose one.

A quote is valid for 7 days unless it says otherwise. After that the prices may change, ingredient costs being what they are. If a quote lapses, ask and we will refresh it.

If you ask for changes, we send a new version rather than editing the old one. Earlier versions stay visible on your order page, so you can always see what was offered and when.

Accepting a quote makes a deposit due. The deposit is 15% of the total on orders up to and including $100.00, and 25% above that. Your quote states the exact figure.

A date is not held until the deposit is received. Until then the date may go to another customer, and we will tell you if that is about to happen.

The balance is due on or before collection or delivery. We accept Zelle at 972-975-8917, and cash on collection.

Ask as early as you can. Flavour, colour and decoration changes are usually possible up to 48 hours before the event. Changes to size, tier count or servings often are not, because ingredients are bought and baking is scheduled against what was agreed.

A change that increases the price is quoted as a new version, which you accept the same way as the first.

If you cancel more than 3 days before your event date, your deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel within 3 days of your event date, the deposit is not refunded. By then the ingredients have been bought, the baking is scheduled, and the date has been held for you rather than offered to someone else. Any balance you have already paid beyond the deposit is always refunded, whenever you cancel. Refunds are returned by the method you paid with, usually within 5 business days. If we cancel for any reason, you receive a full refund including the deposit.

Collection is from Frisco, TX 75035. We share the exact address once your date is confirmed. Please arrive within the agreed window: a finished cake is temperature-sensitive and cannot wait indefinitely.

Delivery is available on orders over $200.00, measured on the items themselves and not including the delivery fee. The fee depends on distance and is quoted on your order rather than charged at a flat rate.

Once a cake has been collected or handed over, its condition is in your hands. Tiered cakes in particular do not travel well on a car seat, and we will tell you how to transport yours.

Our kitchen handles wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts and soy. Equipment and surfaces are shared, so we cannot guarantee that any item is free from any allergen, however carefully we work.

Tell us about an allergy when you request, not after you accept a quote. If an allergy is severe, please do not order: we would rather say so than take a risk with your health.

Eggless options are available on most flavours. Eggless means made without egg, not made in an egg-free kitchen.

We may photograph finished orders and show them on this site or on social media. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not.

A photograph you send us is used as inspiration and reference. If it is someone else’s design, what we make is our interpretation of it rather than a copy, and it will differ.

Prices on the menu are current but can change. The price that binds is the one on the quote you accept: editing a menu price never alters a quote already issued.

Any sales tax that applies is shown on your quote. Texas treats bakery items differently depending on how they are sold, so we do not state a rate here.

Where we are at fault, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the order.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you accepted your quote, and we will not change the terms of an order already agreed.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
